Bushbucks can also be seen standing majestically on termite mounds.

Day 2: Uganda Experience Tour to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Wake up for an early morning nature walk in the national park with a ranger before you take your breakfast but after a simple cup of coffee. This 5 Days Uganda Experience Tour will give you a chance to walk through the wild on foot without the noise from the car engine. This way, you get closer to the animals without scaring them away. No cause for alarm, the ranger is well equipped in case of anything.

Enjoy the morning cool breeze as the ranger explains to you about nature and wildlife. The walk will take you about 2 hours before you go back to take breakfast.
After breakfast, you will then get into the car and head towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the mountain gorillas. The journey will take you through scenes of beautiful landscape beckoning you to take out your camera to have with a copy.

Day 3: Visit Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for Uganda Gorilla Experience Tour

The long-awaited 5 Days Uganda Mountain Gorilla experience tour day is here. After breakfast, you will be driven to the briefing point to know how to behave with the gorillas in the jungle. This briefing is done by a ranger who is also ready for any questions before you set off. Dressed properly with hiking shoes, you will set off with a ranger to the place where the trackers have located the amazing apes.

You can also hire a porter at a small fee to help carry your rucksack for ease of movement. Meeting the gorillas is an amazing experience. Since we are all different, our reactions will also vary. But trust me; it is a wonderful one-hour experience.

Depending on your condition after gorilla trekking, you can as well go for another nature walk to see the waterfalls and the pygmies who once lived in the forest where gorillas still live. (Optional). These will show you how they lived there and the activities they carried out.

Day 4: Drive To the ‘Switzerland of Africa’ – Lake Bunyonyi

Have you ever been to the ‘Switzerland of Africa’? If not, then today is the day of the 5 Days Uganda Experience Tour. The drive from Bwindi will again take you through wonderful scenery till you start seeing terraced hills from far and beyond. As you approach Lake Bunyonyi, you will start to see why that area is called the ‘Switzerland of Africa’. The lake is the water body you will see below as you approach Kabale town from the hills. It has 29 Islands and is said to be the second deepest in Africa.

After taking your lunch in the wonderful Bird Nest Resort which is also your place of accommodation, you will undertake a boat ride the explore some of the islands around the lake. You will also see how people in the area use canoes as a means of transport between the islands.

Day 5: Drive to Entebbe with Equator Stopover

This marks the end of our 5 Days Uganda Experience Tour adventure. But wait a minute! You will have a stopover at the equator to be educated about the forces that are present by a guide using a water experiment. He will demonstrate to you how and why the water moves in different directions from different sides of the equator. This is also a place to do your last shopping for souvenirs and African wear being displayed in different shops. You will thereafter head back to Kampala.
