Wild Village Safaris Booking Terms & Conditions

A deposit of 40% of the total tour cost is required to verify the safari in the off-season and obtain a gorilla pass if required.
During the high season from July to September, customers are required to pay a deposit of 50% of the total flight cost to secure reservations and permits, if required. Balance due 2 weeks prior to arrival.
A full flight refund is required if booked one month before departure. Payments are made by international bank transfer to the company’s bank account in Uganda.
Wild Village Safaris Cancellations Policies
- All cancellation fees are based on the number of days prior to the tour departure.
- 60 days ago: full refund
- Between 60 and 30 days: 70% refund of the deposit
- Between 29 and 15: the 30% deposit will be refunded.
- Less than 15 days: no response
- There will be no refunds for unused portions of the safari once it has begun.
Please note that this is Uganda Wildlife Authority policy, so Ugandan gorilla permits are non-refundable if already booked.
Booking Terms & Conditions for Children/Adults Accompanied by Children
- Free for children under 3 years old.
- If you are between the ages of 4 and 12, 50% of the adult rate will be charged.
- Persons over the age of 13 will be charged the same amount as adults.
Important information
- Tour rates are based on all charges and exchange rates known at the time of transfer and you will be promptly notified of any material changes beyond our control.
- We also reserve the right to modify packages according to local circumstances. We also reserve the right to refuse or continue the tour if it causes any danger or inconvenience to other customers, our environment, and our ecosystem.
- Children under 15 cannot track down gorillas or chimpanzees.
- Prior to 2006, the Ugandan series of US dollar banknotes were only accepted at low exchange rates, so it is recommended that you travel to Uganda with a new series of banknotes.
